We had Jeff and his team do the painting for both the interior and exterior of our home in Mission Beach and they did a great job. We had lots of schedule changes to work around the other contractors working on our full-house remodel, and Jeff as very flexible in working with the changing schedule. We used lots of different colors and Jeff was helpful in helping me to decide on options, as well as bringing samples so I could see them on the wall, which was really super helpful. Long Painting was recommended to me by the color consultant at Sherwin Williams and she was right that they do a really good job, clean lines, easy to work with, and very pleasant and a great attitude of making it all happen for us. Even my neighbor gave me feedback that they were doing a great job and painted each cedar shake individually and that they were very nice. They even offered him their spare parking space -- which is rare in Mission Beach. Overall a 5 out of 5 for Long Painting.

Based on a favorable review on another site, I hired Jeff to paint a fairly large family room that had dark wood paneling. I live in LA and the work was to be done at my mother's house in San Diego. From start to finish, the experience was very positive, particularly since it had to be coordinated long distance. Jeff was easy to reach, very responsive, professional and friendly. Because of other work being done in the room, we had to divide this project into two parts, but Jeff was very accommodating about it. My mother, who is 90, felt very comfortable with him and the completed job looked great. We had one miscommunication about one aspect of the work (our fault), but Jeff took care of it and we've asked him back to do some more work for us!

Throughout a remodel of my two small bathrooms, Long Bros put more care into the project than I would have done myself. When they opened stuff up, they found out the microwave was mounted wrong on the other side of the wall, and fixed it. They found out that the bathroom fans were just venting into the attic, so they installed new ductwork. The tile guy was here on weekends, sorting piles of shower pan sheets, showing me that they were in a couple different flavors. I shrugged and said I'd be fine if it was random, but he went to the store to exchange a box for me anyway. Sure enough, I'd have been annoyed if he did it my way. Everything's clean now, ready to go, and I love my new bathrooms, so thanks a lot!

He took care of everything and helped me navigate the issues with the other contractor. Expert texturing of a plaster wall patch and great job painting multiple patches and a bookshelf. Took the time to sand down rough edges and plug small nail holes as well. I bought a condo in Little Italy and my prior contractors were not interested in a downtown job. I ran into Jeff and John in the lobby as they were leaving another job in the building. From that moment to the very end of the remodel, I was so glad to have happened upon them that day. They surpassed anything my last contractors had done at my prior place….and with such a great crew. All very helpful, professional, and friendly. I hired them for a complete overhaul of the unit. Every room, from wall to floor, from kitchen to bathroom and each bedroom…it was previously a rental and I was upgrading to make it home. They redid counters, cabinets, toilets, doors, tile, floor, shower, faux brick wall….literally everything! They did an outstanding job with it and I am happy to come home each night to exactly what I envisioned for the unit. The crew was on time, took care of the property, stayed in guidelines of the building (which is a job of its own in a downtown high rise!), and really spent time making sure all was correct.

John was there most days and stayed on top of all of the moving parts and was super communicative. He is a very good leader and the entire team was fantastic, but a couple of the crew that really stood out were Chuy, the tile guy, and Manny, the all around, whatever you need guy! Chuy’s focus was the bathroom tile and faux brick wall…and it looks amazing. Manny’s focus depended on the day. He did so many things and was so helpful. If I had an idea, he was there to make it happen.

This job was done over the summer, but I waited to give a review to be sure the work withheld the test of some time. It’s been over 3 months now and I have had no concerns. I had a very, slight adjustment that needed to be made this past week and Jeff and John responded almost immediately and were on it. Manny showed up, made the adjustment. He was just as helpful and happy as always with no complaints, hassle, or issue.

I would 100% hire these guys again and recomend them to anyone looking to do a remodel.

I found Jeff on Yelp, so I’m paying it forward to increase visibility. These guys don’t have enough reviews. I came to them with a vague desire to update two small bathrooms, and they worked with me when my guidance left a ton to be desired. What should we do about paint? I don’t know, some kind of white, you guys figure it out. Boom, done.

So I hired them and left for two weeks. They listened to what we were looking for and provided a thorough quote. We had ordered our new appliances early and had them ready for the project.
