Initially tried to contact home advisor by phone...little girl sounding voice was not helpful... only sent me ONE recommendation for my zip code and that was for a roofing company 50 miles away. thank goodness I got a promotional e-mail from home advisor and managed to get references on line. your system for a customer seeking services on your 800 line is very poor and I have not experienced that before when using your recommendations several times in the past....

My experience with Lagunas Maintenance was great. I live in a mobile home and the steps to my porch had dry rot and were not safe. Carlos came to my home, assessed the damage, and gave me an estimate less than one half the cost that another company, who did not even come to see what needed to be done. The steps were repaired and sealed to keep further damage from standing water at a minimum. The repair work was accomplished in a few hours and I now feel comfortable using them. My thanks to Carlos and the gentleman who completed the work. I know that should I have other jobs that need to be done I will be calling Carlos to help me out. I give them a 5 star rating.

Carlos brought in a team for the many projects I had to do. They were very respectful of my house, covering shoes, and cleaning up after themselves. They made quick work of installing toilet paper holders and bathroom shelves. They did a great job of hanging gallery walls in several rooms. Heavy mirrors were hung with appropriate hardware. They were able to remove a cabinet in the garage and cleaned up the area beautifully. They did such a great job I had them back the following day to rescreen all the screens on my windows. I will be having them back soon to build a storage shed. On time and reasonable price for all I had to do.

Carlos and his crew recently did a small concrete pad (50sq ft) in our back yard. The crew was punctual and hard working. They tore out the old concrete, laid rebar, and poured new concrete all in one day. And they cleaned up everything at the end. I am very pleased with the work.

Had a issue with my rental property in CA, being out of state it’s not the easiest to deal with issues at times. I searched yelp and received a few quotes, Lagunas was very prompt in responding and could get out right away which was a huge plus. Happy tenants, Happy landlord! Carlos called to confirm the appointment the night before and was on time the next morning with the scheduled time with the tenants. Carlos had the repairs done quickly and speaking with the tenant found out about other minor issues that I was not aware of, that if not addressed would have been major issues down the road and very expensive to have fixed so I’m very glad he gave me a call to let me know and he was able to take care of those items as well while he was there. My tenant also sent me a message saying he was very clean cut and friendly.The price was very reasonable and he will now be my first call for any issues down the road. Thanks again Carlos.

Ever since I bought my current house, the front door and the door to my garage never aligned properly with the deadbolt. The front door had a lot of give and I had to manually put it in the right position to lock while the door to my garage required me to push in with my shoulder in order to lock. Oh, yeah, one other door in my garage needed weather stripping while I was at it.

I put out my message for help on Yelp and Carlos was easily the first to respond. Not only that, we arranged for him to come out the very next morning. He showed up early and I showed him the problems and he diagnosed the issues quickly and explained them to me.

A little over an hour later, he had fixed all of these issues and now all of my doors lined up perfectly. He charged me a fair price and was on his way. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Carlos and crew to do any handyman related jobs around the house. They came to my rental to replace rotted interior wood around the kitchen sink. They came on time, they wore their Covid-19 masks the whole time they were here, and were very professional with how they handled the job. Carlos was very patient answering any questions related and unrelated to the job and made sure we were satisfied with his response and recommendations. My wife already has a few more jobs lined up for Carlos for future jobs at our rentals and our home.
